Born June 5, 1949 in Henry County, he was Frank Noland Margaret Craig of Bassett. He had worked in New York at Chase Manhattan Bank, in private banking, and the Simons Co.

as a marketing and sales rep- the son of Bullock and Bullock, both Bullock Bullock resentative. A graduate of of National Business College in 1972, he also graduated from the University of Virginia Patrick Henry College in 1969 and Staunton Military Academy in 1967. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a golf professional, having worked at Century Country Club in Purchase, N.Y. as a teaching professional as well as at Chatmoss Country Club as assistant pro.

He was the 1964 Dwight Dillon Most Valuable Player at Bassett High School; 1966-67 Virginia State Military School champion; 1970-71 qualified U.S. amateur; 1976. Metropolitan PGA Assistants champion; and 1980 Met Open champion. He also played the Zealand PGA Circuit 1975-1979, and the Asian Golf Circuit 1976-1985. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 10 years, Ellen Jenkins Bullock; a daughter, Florence Bess Bullock of Purchase; and a brother, Frank Noland Bullock Jr.

Memorials may 'be made to the charity of the donor's Oliver W. Crook Oliver W. "Tom" Crook, 66, of Rocky Mount, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, in a Roanoke hospital. He was born Feb.

27, 1937, the son of the late Claude and Nannie Shaon Crook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by. Crook his brothers Claude R. Crook Richard Lee Crook, and William Avon Crook. He graduated from Franklin County High School and American University in Washington, D.C.

He was in law enforcement in 'Alexandria and later returned to Franklin County, where he owned and operated Special Equipment Co. Most recently he was employed by MW Windows in Rocky Mount. He was time member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Jason Crook of New York; four sisters, Virginia C. Wade of Pearisburg, Alma C.

Hale and Martha C. Lovell, both of Collinsville, and Mary C. Saul of Manassas; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Saturday at Flora Funeral Thank You! Dameron David George Dameron, 52, of 135 Ashby Court, Martinsville, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville of complications from polycystic kidney and liver disease.

Born Oct. 7, 1951, in Danville, he was the son of the late Russell 0. Dameron and Eva Searcy Dameron of Danville. Most recently he practiced as a physician's assistant with Commonwealth Family Physicians in Martinsville. He also taught at Danville Community College and the National College of Business and' Technology in Martinsville and Danville.

He was a captain in the U.S. Air Force, where he received training to become a physician's assistant. He attended the University of Virginia, received his bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and a masters in sports medicine from Central Missouri State University. He was an active member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church of Danville, where he was a choir member, in the chancellor praise band and wind ensemble.

He performed with several groups, including the Danville Symphony and "Overtime," a classical rock band. In addition to his mother survivors include his wife, Nancy Jackson Dameron of the home; a daughter, Marcia Leigh Dameron, also of the home; a twin brother, Dale W. Dameron of Martinsville, and two additional brothers, John P. Dameron of Danville and Charles R. Dameron of Martinsville; and a sister, Sylvia D.

Vaden of Nashville, Tenn. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, North Main St. in Danville.

Burial will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends from p.m. today at the church, and other times at the residence. Memorials may be made to the AGAPE fund or the music fund at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 3090 N.
